| the first two days |
I had my first two days of classes this week. I don't have a whole lot to do as of yet - just chapter one out of the medical terminology book and brushing up a little on what we went over on thursday before returning to class next week - but I'm sure it's going to pick up the pace VERY quickly.
$360 worth of books:
Luckily only two are hardback, otherwise it would have been a ton more.
Class time seems to drag EXTREMELY slow though. It's bad enough that it's scheduled from 9-4, but 50 minutes seriously seems like two hours. At least we get a break every 50 minutes, but still. Hopefully it's just something we need to adjust to.
Some not-so-good news though - Some of the clinicals are all the way out in Boo-Foo Egypt, aka Lakeland and Brooksville. Hillsborough county has at least five hospitals - is that REALLY necessary? NOT looking forward to doing that twice a week during those semesters.
Otherwise, so far, so good. |
